Let The Journey Begin 11/11/2015 Sorry again for being a bit out of pocket. I do have a good reason though. I’ve begun a bit of a journey of a lifetime. Now I don’t want this to become a travel blog, I’ll try to keep it as spiritual as I can, but the next two and a half weeks, I’ll be writing you from Europe. Giving Till It Hurts 11/08/2015 Mark 12:41-44 Jesus sat down opposite the treasury and observed how the crowd put money into the treasury. Many rich people put in large sums. A poor widow also came and put in two small coins worth a few cents. I’m grateful for that, thank you. Among those that regularly read it (as you might guess) are my parents. That’s definitely different than a journal. I love them very much and am so happy they get to read it because I live in Georgia and they live in Illinois and I don’t get to see them often. So I called my mom a day after my last posting about the

The Dangers Of Deception 11/04/2015 Shootings in America have become quite an epidemic over the last decade or so. Now this particular blog won’t be a time to yell about that (I’m sure I’ll do that another time). I’m here to talk about one that ended up with a bit of a different outcome that we have (unfortunately) become used to. Lt. Joe Gliniewicz of the Fox Lake, Illinois police force (about an hour north of Chicago) was a one time thought to be the killed in the line of duty. There was a massive manhunt for his killers,
